As you can imagine this is a situation where we needed a concrete answer. At this time PBG texted one of her close friends a picture of the test. I think PBG hoped her friend might tell us if this was a positive or negative, but she was asleep (she texted her back in the morning very excited). PBG's next step was to go to the internet for answers. Apparently there is a website dedicated to helping you find out if a test is a positive or not. This still was not good enough for me, so at midnight I took off for the 24 hour Walgreens and showed up with the "Pregnant - Not Pregnant" digital test. I highly recommend this test. I don't know if it was just the long travel day but there was no well scripted cinematic, "we're pregnant" moment that I might normally hope for but it was still very special. A few minutes after the 2nd test was taken PBG took off for the restroom and the test read "pregnant"!
Needless to say while we were very excited we were also tired and went to sleep that night extremely happy. The next day PBG told a few people. Over the next couple weeks we started telling some close friends and family. Here is our 1st sonogram.
Today we are thrilled to share the news of this blessing with all of our friends and family. We are 12 weeks pregnant today and due March 25, 2014.
